This easy, short walking track is suitable for all ages, wandering from the Milford Road through forest to peaceful Lake Mistletoe.

Description
This walking track leads you through forest to a peaceful lake that is home to New Zealand scaup (duck), frogs and other wetland wildlife.
The track then gently meanders onwards to loop back to the carpark. Views of Lake Te Anau can be seen along the way.
Getting there
This walking track is located on the Milford Road (SH94), which is 27 km (30 minutes drive) north from Te Anau.
The track starts from the signpost over the road from the hotel complex at Te Anau Downs.
