Description
The track is not regularly managed and is indistinct in some places - it is for fit trampers only.
Burrill Route climbs steeply through the regenerating forest of Te Paparahi to the central ridge and follows through to Tataweka (526 m)

The track starts from Mabey Road.

There is no water available on the route.

Te Paparahi is of significant importance to Ngāti Rehua as it holds taonga and spiritual values of people, flora, fauna, land and water.
