Bookings

Bookings are open for stays up to 30 June 2027.

• If no availability shows online for your dates, the hut is fully booked.
• No spaces are kept for visitors arriving without a booking.
• Phone and in‑person bookings made at a visitor centre incur a $10 service fee.
• Same‑day bookings are available online until 8 pm if spaces remain.

Your hut booking is for any bunk bed, not for a specific bunk bed – select your bunk bed on arrival.

Pinnacles Hut is on the Mount Somers Track. It can be accessed from Sharplin Falls car park which is at the end of Flynns Road Staveley.

• There are unbridged stream crossings on the track from Sharplin Falls car park to Pinnacles Hut. These streams rise quickly after heavy rain, particularly Pony Stream, becoming dangerous and impassable. Avoid this track if heavy rain is forecast.
• The track from Sharplin Falls car park to Pinnacles Hut is much more challenging than most of the other tracks on Mt Somers. It is steep, rough, physically demanding and needs tramping experience. An overnight trip from Woolshed Creek car park to Woolshed Creek Hut is an easier alternative.

You can also get to Pinnacles Hut from Woolshed Creek Hut. It takes 3 hr (6 km) and the track is steep in places with unbridged stream crossings.
